ANDERSON, Mo. —
Mr. Italo Bruno Ghidotti, 59, of Anderson, Mo., lost his fight to cancer on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at the Veteran's Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark.
Bruno entered this life on March 21, 1954, in Sacramento, Calif., to Bruno and Amelia Ghidotti.
He married Paula R. Lashmett on July 30, 1984, in Sacramento. They moved to Anderson, coming from Sacramento. Bruno owned and operated Bruno's Appliance store in Anderson. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy for four years, serving in Vietnam and Saigon. He loved classic cars, boating, fishing and hanging out at the pool. Bruno loved his children and grandchildren, all of them.
Bruno is survived by his wife, Paula Ghidotti, of the home; a son, David Ghidotti and wife, Amy; a daughter, Christina Marie Spurgeon and husband, Luke, all of Anderson; his father, Bruno Ghidotti, of Sacramento; two brothers, Tony Ghidotti, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Burt Ghidotti, of Sacramento; a sister, Tina Ghidotti, of Sacramento; five grandchildren, Keagan Spurgeon, Brayden Spurgeon, Paxton Ghidotti, Maksim Spurgeon and Addison Spurgeon; along with a host of other family friends who will dearly miss Bruno.
Funeral services for Bruno Ghidotti will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
