MIAMI, Okla. — Lesley Loren Wallace, of Miami, Okla., went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2013.

He was born to Loren and Lorraine Wallace in Spring City, Mo.

He was united in marriage to Doris Gorman  in June of 1951. He was employed at 15th Street Lumber Company in Joplin, retired from NEO A&M College and preached in several churches around the area.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lorretta VanTrease; a brother, Leon Wallace; and two grandsons, Matt Smith and Corey Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Doris, of the home; two sons, Mike Wallace and his wife, Carla, of Miami, Okla. and Kelly Wallace, of the home; three daughters, Nancy Brooks, of Bartlesville, Tina Cravens and Lisa Wallace both, of Miami; one sister, Treva Harris, of Lamar, Mo.; also surviving are nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation.

The family request any memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society in c/o the Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami.
