JOPLIN, Mo. —
Gary R. Stuck, age 72, of Joplin, Mo., passed away at 8:44 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, following a short illness.
Gary was born Dec. 22, 1940, in Eureka, Kan. and had lived in Joplin most of his life. Gary was a Senior Designer for Allgeier, Martin and Associates, where he worked for 40 years. He was a member of College Heights Christian Church and the Peacemakers Sunday School Class. Gary enjoyed working in his yard, traveling, and was an avid sports fan.
Gary married Vicky Marquardt July 14, 1962, in Wichita, Kan. and she survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Greg Stuck, Webb City, Mo.; a daughter, Kristi Stuck, Joplin; his mother, Maxine Stuck; one sister, Susan Wiley and husband, Michael; a niece, Regina Brent and husband, Ryan, all of Wichita, Kan.; and two grandchildren, Casey Stuck, Kansas City, Mo. and Shelby Stuck, Webb City, Mo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at College Heights Christian Church with Rick Bushnell, Minister, officiating. Entombment will follow in the Ozark Memorial Park Mausoleum. Employees of Allgeier, Martin and Associates will be seated together as a group. Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at Mason-Woodard Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested in Garys memory to Allgeier, Martin and Assoc. in care of the Mortuary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin.
