SENECA, Mo. —

Harvey M. Partain, 58, Seneca, Mo., passed away at 7:48 p.m. Feb. 19, 2013, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, after an apparent heart attack.

Harvey Morris Partain was born Sept. 27, 1954, in Miami, Okla., the son of Louis and Arpie (Denney) Partain. Harvey had lived in Seneca all his life. He was a 1972 graduate of Seneca High School and had worked for Milnot Company in Seneca for 40 years.

Survivors include his special friend, Darla Crowder, Seneca; one son, Bryan Partain  and wife, Tammy, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; his mother, Arpie Vermillion and husband, Bob, Seneca; three sisters, Chalice Zuvekas and husband, Patrick Dugan, Seneca, Teresa Partain, Kansas City, Kan., and Andrea Buening, Seneca; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the First Baptist Church, Seneca, with Rev. Bobby Vermillion and Rev. Mark Landrith officiating. Burial will be in the Fairland Lutheran Cemetery, Fairland, Okla., with Chris Rabel, Delmer Mack, Denney Crabaugh, Mike Judd, Todd Bryant and Sam Buening serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
