JOPLIN, Mo. —
Pauline M. Fiscus, age 85, Joplin, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, at her home after a long illness.
Pauline was born June 23, 1927, in Webb City, Mo., to the late John McCord and Bessie Pyle McCord. She had lived in Joplin since 1992, moving from Coffeyville, Kan.
Pauline worked as a nurse at Baptist Hospital, Nashville, Tenn., for several years. She and her husband were affiliated with Forest Park Baptist Church in Nashville, while they lived there.
She married Keith Fiscus on June 23, 1947, in Fredonia, Kan. He survives at the home.
Additional survivors include a son, Neal Fiscus, Joplin, and two grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Parker Mortuary. Rev. Bob Simon will officiate. Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Parker Mortuary.
