CARTHAGE, Mo. —

Betty Ann Nichols, 81, Carthage, Mo., passed away Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Sunshine Children's Home, Carthage.

Betty was born June 15, 1931, at Richland, Mo., to Homer and Daisy Nichols. She lived in Bolivar, Mo. for several years and had been at the Sunshine Home for the past 25 years.  

Betty was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by a stepmother, Pauline Nichols.

She is survived by a niece, Francis Kelley and her husband, Dwain, of Carthage; other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.

Memorial services for Betty Ann Nichols will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, at Crossroads Baptist Church, with Rev. Robert Morgan officiating. Betty was cremated under direction of Knell Mortuary, Carthage, and inurnment will be in the Roberson Cemetery, Willard, Mo.
