JOPLIN, Mo. —

Mildred Elizabeth Bullock Graham, age 94, of Joplin, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at National Healthcare Center.

Born June 13, 1918, in Galena, Kan., she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Dora Soulen Bullock and lived in the Joplin area her lifetime. A homemaker, she also worked seven years for Prudential Insurance Co. She was a member, former board member and trustee at Byers Avenue United Methodist Church, where she was honored for over 65 years of service in the church choir. She was a member of Freeman Hospital Auxiliary and was a buyer for the gift shop. She was also a member of United Methodist Women, Joplin Woman's Club and L'Amitie Club.

On Aug. 31, 1941, she married Gale A. Graham in Joplin. He preceded her in death April 14, 2005.

She was also preceded by two sons, Philip and Stanley Graham; and two sisters, Margery Melin and Lois Jean Forswall.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet Box and husband, Gary, of Joplin; two granddaughters, Amy Menke and husband, Rusty, of Rogers, Ark., and Tamara Jones, of Van Buren, Ark.; a grandson, Dr. Nathan Box, of Joplin; and five great-grandchildren, Rodney and Colby Menke, Darren Jones, Gavin Box and Abery Menke.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Parker Chapel with Rev. Max Raney officiating. Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.
