JOPLIN, MO —
Gregory J. Hubof Jr., age 77, of Joplin, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at 10:15 a.m. at St. Luke's Nursing Center.
Greg was born on July 31, 1935, in Watertown, S.D., the son of the late Margaret (Fox) and Gregory Hubor Sr. He worked as a self-employed painter.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Margie Waswick and Rosemary Sullivan.
He is survived by one daughter, Love Hubof, Oklahoma City, Okla.; one son, Patrick Hubof, Oklahoma City; one brother, Bill Hubof; two sisters, Bobbie Rudnik and Dorothy Ready; three granddaughters, Tammy Kerley, Donna Hubof and Katie Hubof; and seven great-grandchildren, Kaisey Kerley, Bella Kerley, Harley Lana, Alexis Kahl, Treah Hubof, Ameeria Gould and Essence Davidson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Jeff Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Stone Cemetery, near Diamond, Mo. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
