BEDFORD, TX —
Linda Pieratt Di Nardo passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at her home in Bedford, Texas.
She was born June 17, 1953, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Shirley W. Ellis and the late Harley H. Pieratt. To quote Linda, she was the oldest and the greatest granddaughter of the late John and Ruby Wilkerson and the late Glenn and Minnie Pieratt.
Linda had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a loving person, beautiful inside and out. She graduated from Ruskin High School in Kansas City, and worked as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines for 25 years.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley W. Ellis, of Joplin, Mo.; one brother, Lyle Ren Pieratt, of San Francisco, Calif.; four aunts, Karen Stephan (Duane), Evelyn Roberts (Steve), Dixie Springer (Les) and Juanita Wilkerson; four uncles, Dale Wilkerson (Ruth), Ken Wilkerson (Dixie), Bill Wilkerson (Kay) and Terry Wilkerson (Denise); and many cousins. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Harley H. Pieratt and an infant brother, Leon Phillip Pieratt.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Schneider Funeral Home, Pleasanton, Kan. Visitation from 10 a.m. to service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Pleasanton Cemetery.
