GALENA, Kan. —
Radford Hayden "Radge" Greenlee, age 65, departed this earthly life on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the home of his son in Baxter Springs, Kan., surrounded by his family.
Radge was born Feb. 3, 1948, at Hockerville, Okla., son of Eber Hayden and Sallie Gideon Greenlee.
He worked for the City of Galena for 31 years, retiring in February of 2010. He has resided in Galena the past 17 years, moving from Lowell, Kan.
Radge was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Raydean Greenlee.
He is survived by his three sons, Radgie Wayne, Rusty and Raydean; two granddaughters; one brother, Albert Lee Greenlee, Galena; three sisters, Bertie Goodwin, husband, Johnny Lee, Baxter Springs, Ruthie Martin, Galena, and Linda Edwards, husband, Joe, Galena; and several nieces and nephews.
One of Radge's greatest joys was playing his guitar and singing with family and friends. Another passion was fishing with special friends at the lake.
He will always be remembered for this love of family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
The body is being taken for cremation.
