WEBB CITY, Mo. —
Mary E. Northern, age 67, of Webb City, Mo., passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the home of her daughter after an illness.
Mary was born March 22, 1946, in Joplin, to the late George Barnard and Martha Snow Barnard and had lived in the Joplin, Webb City area all her life. She was a homemaker.
She married Richard Northern, at Miami, Okla. in 1964. He preceded her in death July 8, 2004.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Sullivan and her husband, Rick, of Webb City; two sons, Richard L. Northern and Joshua D. Northern, both of Joplin; two brothers, Lloyd Barnard and his wife, Mildred, of Quapaw, Okla., and Floyd Barnard and his wife, Mildred, of Spring City, Mo.; two sisters, Garnett OBanion and Connie Coleman, both of Joplin; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Anna, Sara, Clarissa, Morgan and Jeremiah Northern, Kyleigh Sullivan and Amber Wallace; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan Mayhew, Ronnie Northern and Ryan Koski.
Graveside services for Mary will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Curtis "Peacemaker" Williams officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
