Robert lived his entire life in the Neosho area. He graduated from Neosho High School in 1944. Robert was employed by and a general manager for Griffith Motor Company for nearly 40 years.

Robert had a lifelong passion for the outdoors, was an avid hunter and photographer. He was a lifelong member of the NRA, the Masons, the Republican Party and was a Southern Baptist. He also served on the Board of the Neosho Senior Center. Robert most enjoyed his friends and hunting buddies. Robert lived every day to its fullest and was pleased to be heading to his "happy hunting grounds" to be reunited with his one true love, Lillys, and with his numerous friends that had predeceased him. To his hunting buddies he is leaving behind, he wanted them to know he will miss you, but looks forward to seeing you again for more outdoor adventures.
