TOPEKA, Kan. —
Daniel Earl Geisler, 57, of Topeka, Kan., passed away July 29, 2013, at Manor Care Health Services.
He was born Aug. 15, 1955, in Redbud, Ill. He graduated from Riverton High School, Riverton, Kan., in 1973, and received his BSBA from Missouri Southern State College in 1977.
After graduating he was employed as an accountant and in various business positions in a number of firms in Kansas City and Joplin, including as a health information specialist for St. John's Health Center, of Joplin, and a customer service representative for Vangent Corp., in Lawrence, Kan.
Daniel served as a Royal Ranger leader and co-director of children's church as well as a choir member of numerous churches.
Daniel married Deborah Martin on Feb. 9, 1985. She preceded him in death on Jan. 31, 2001.
He is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Carol Bett, of Lawrence, Kan.; two brothers, two sisters and two grandsons.
Memorial services will be held at Lakeview Nazarene Church, of Topeka, at 11 a.m. Aug. 2, 2013.
