MARSHFIELD, Mo. —
Paul Edward Johnson, son of Perry Leon Johnson and Ethel (Coffman) Johnson, was born Oct. 6, 1932, in Drumwright, Okla., and passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, in the Mercy Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 9 days.
Paul worked in the aerospace industry and later as a manager in the oil and gas industry. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Marshfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, LaVonne "Sally" Johnson; two sons, David Johnson and his wife, Carol, Casper, Wyo., and Michael Johnson and his wife, Debbie, Marshfield; two daughters, Kathryn Pete, Jacksonville, Fla., and Barbara Cuneo and her husband, Philip, Spring, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Clayton, Fort Scott, Kan., Mary Mefford, Bronson, Kan., and Jean Decker, Bronson; and three brothers, Ralph Johnson, Fort Scott, Perry Johnson, Ashland, Ore., and Terry Joe Johnson, Iola, Kan.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Friar Scott Sunnenberg officiating, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Military Honors will be conferred by the Webster Co. Veterans Memorial Association. A prayer service will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with visitation to follow.
