NEOSHO, Mo. —
William LaJuinita Plew, 81, entered into rest on Feb. 18, 2013, at Fayetteville Veteran's Home, Fayetteville, Ark.
Bill was a Neosho, Mo. lifelong area resident and his home was at 10020 Gateway Drive, Neosho. Due to illness, he was a patient in Fayetteville.
He was born May 2, 1931, to Floyd Theodore and Gladys (Neal) Plew.
Bill worked as an auto mechanic at R&S Chevrolet in Joplin, Mo., for 25 years until he retired. He then owned and operated Plew's One Stop in Neosho, for 25 years.
Bill married Joe Ann Smith on July 28, 1956, in Neosho. She survives.
He is also survived by his three sons, Ray Plew, of Carterville, Mo., Doug and wife, Connie Plew, of Rogers, Ark., and William L. Plew, of Neosho; six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and special friends (also considered grandchildren), Harley Mannes, Ralph Mannes and Debbie Mannes.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Clark Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, Neosho. Rev. Ralph Walker, officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
