GOODMAN, Mo. — Ralph "Bud" Gleaman Reardon, 71, of Goodman, Mo., was called to heaven on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at his residence with his loving family by his side.

Bud began his earthly journey on Oct. 25, 1942, in Noel, Mo., born to the late, Ralph and Nellie (Huffman) Reardon. He lived in McDonald County all of his life.

Bud married the love of his life, Evelyn Rustin on Jan. 15, 1977, at Goodman, Mo. He owned and operated Ozark Ind. Inc. in Goodman. He was a hard worker, but he would always say, "I have never worked a day in my life, because I love what I do." Bud cherished time spent with his grandchildren, loved going to ballgames and traveling. He had been faithful at studying the word of God. Bud was a  member of the McNatt Baptist Church in Goodman, where he drove the church bus and taught  Sunday School for several years. Bud was also a member of Gideons International.

He was preceded in death by his parents;  brother, Joe Reardon; sister, Dorene Jansen; grandsons, Jamie Colt Gideon and Ryan Sink.

Bud is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Evelyn Reardon, of the home; two sons, Kevin Reardon and wife, Susan, of Goodman, Jerry Lee Reardon, of Goodman; three daughters, Ellen Roberts, of Buffalo, Mo., Karen Ables, of Buffalo, Dawn Smith, of Carl Junction, Mo.; two sisters, Colleen Haddock and husband, Ed, of Goodman, Carolyn Norris and husband, Dave, of Neosho, Mo.; a brother, Jack Reardon and wife, Ona Mae, of Anderson, Mo.; brother-in-law, Fred Jansen, of Lanagan, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, Clint, Kayla, Tyler, Hannah, Shawnda, John Wesley, Tristan, Blaine, Nicolas and Stacy; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family, friends and neighbors who will dearly miss Bud.

Funeral services for Ralph "Bud" Reardon will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at the  McNatt Baptist Church in Goodman. Pastor Larry Enlow and Pastor Josh Branham will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Howard Cemetery in Goodman. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo., from 5 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends at this time.

Memorial contributions may be given to the McNatt Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
