WICHITA, KS —

Bonnie Jean Moore Whited, age 80, of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Baxter Springs, Kan., left this world for her heavenly home Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1932, the daughter of Walter and Mae (Kinworthy) Moore.

She attended school at Baxter Springs and Red Star. She worked for Guy Foods Inc. for 17 years in Wichita.

On Jan. 30, 1961, she was united in marriage to Jesse Whited in Wichita.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Danny, David and George; and two brothers, Raymond and Jim.

She is survived by her husband, Jessie, of the home; two sisters, Ruth Thacker, of Kaw City, Okla., and Lois Brown, of Wichita, Kan.; four nieces, Linda Norman and Jean Barker, both of Kaw City, Debbie Gomez, of Salina, Kan., and Leatha Braland, of Groveland, Fla.; a nephew, Bill Moore, of Wichita; and other relatives and friends.

Her family and friends will miss her smiley face everywhere she went. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Earth loss is Heaven's gain. And now she walks with her Lord and Savior, Jesus.

Funeral services for Bonnie Jean Moore Whited will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, with Brother Ray Clonts officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Baxter Springs Cemetery, Baxter Springs. Pallbearers will be Frank Whited, Ted Vann, Nathan Thompson, Benny Whited, Chad Gomer and Charles Johnston.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami.
