WYANDOTTE, OK —
Charles L. Charlie Bowman, age 80, of Wyandotte, Okla., passed away at 8:03 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.
Charlie was born Jan. 1, 1932, in Purdy, Ark. He had lived in the Wyandotte area the last 35 years after living in the Seneca, Mo. area most of his life. Charlie retired from the B.F. Goodrich plant in Miami, Okla., after 20 years of service. He was a graduate of Seneca High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Elbert and husband, Carl, Seneca; one stepdaughter, Connie Brecheisen and husband, Gordon, Wyandotte; two stepsons, Weldon Loncarich and wife, Sherry and Mark Loncarich, all of Wyandotte; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Harold Bowman; and a stepson, Tony Loncarich.
Graveside committal services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Wyandotte Indian Cemetery with Chief Billy Friend officiating.
