Judy (Parsley) Gerhards
Judy Gerhards, 82, a native of Regensburg, Germany, and has lived in Neosho, Mo., since August 2008, died at 7:35 p.m. on Dec. 11, 2012, at NHC Healthcare in Neosho.
She was born on March 27, 1930, in Regensburg, to Katharina Maria Feil-Roider and Georg Roider who have both preceded her in death.
Judy was married for 24 years to Jack B. Parsley who was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. They moved both internationally and nationally while raising five daughters. She was a lead cook for the cafeteria and the patients at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas for, 10 years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was always there to help her children when ever needed.
She lived most of her life for her five girls than she did for herself. We will all miss her deeply.
Her surviving daughters are Peggy (Billy) Davis, of Vidor, Texas, Patty (Billy) Hooper, of Purcell, Okla., Suzi (Charlie) Barney, of Vidor, Barbara (Wayne) Wallace, of Diamond, Mo., and Angie (Bill) Eubanks, of Stella, Mo. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews residing in Germany, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Judy has two surviving brothers and two sisters, all in Germany. Armin (Gertrude) Gerhards, of Dinslaken, Gina (Hans) Tont, of Trier, Siegfried (Uschi) Gerhards, of Trier, and Marie-Luise (Dieter) Fusswinkle, of Trier.
As requested by our mother, services are to remain private.
Forever and always she shall remain in our hearts.
