Eva M. "Wilma" Wyrick

NEOSHO, Mo. — Eva Mae "Wilma" Wyrick, 88, passed away Feb. 1, 2013, at Medicalodge in Neosho, Mo., following a short illness.

Eva was born July 1, 1924, in the Elm Springs Community to James Ollie Brock and Sally Josephine (Severs) Brock. She was a lifelong area resident and had worked as a seamstress for Miller Manufacturing and Big Smith Manufacturing. She loved her grandchildren, fishing, sports and dancing and was a member of the Baptist Church. She married John J. Wyrick, May 30, 1943, in Miami, Okla., he survives.

She is also survived by three children, Jesstine Ball, Granby, Larry Wyrick, Baxter Springs, Kan. and Donna Sageser, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Ruby Spragins, Seligman, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Rev. Melvin Stapp officiating. Interment will follow in Neosho IOOF Cemetery in Neosho, Mo. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho on Monday  9  a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.n. to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
