Herbert Daniel Taylor

LAS VEGAS, NV —

Herbert Daniel Taylor, 80, of Las Vegas, Nev., passed away Jan. 21, 2013.

He was born Jan. 7, 1933, in Carthage, Mo., to Herbert D. Taylor and Carrie McKenzie Taylor. Herbert was a State Farm Insurance agent and a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. He enjoyed baseball and scouted for the Chicago Cubs for 11 years.

Survivors include his wife, Tillie Taylor; daughters, Cynthia (Carl) Swenberg, Nancy (Bob) Licata and Dana (Paul) Wilson; sister, Harriett Reynolds; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Palm Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Rev. Carl Swenberg will officiate.
