BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan. —
Crystal Kay Brown, age 40, of Baxter Springs, Kan., passed from this life Friday, Feb. 22, 2013.
Crystal was born June 18, 1972, to Cecil and Billie (Pierson) Brown. She last worked in 2009, at Autumn Place Nursing Facility as a CMA. She was a member of Impact Life Church in Joplin, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Survivors include her boyfriend of nine years, Shawn Kirk McClintick, of Girard, Kan.; one son, Christopher Sparks, of Baxter Springs; one daughter, Shaya Faircloth (husband, James), of Baxter Springs; one brother, David Brown, of Galena; six grandchildren, Ryder Hickman, Kaydon Faircloth, Jayden Faircloth, Jaylee Faircloth, Gunnar Sparks and Xavier Pendley; and her dog, Mary Jane (aka Nay Nay)
The body was entrusted for cremation under the care of Derfelt's Baxter Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Derfelt's Baxter Chapel. Pastor Howey Nunnelly will officiate.
