Jasper County Clerk Bonnie Earl said election judges are finding some registered voter’s names have been left off the latest roster provided by the Missouri secretary of state’s office.
Earl, shortly after noon, said she wasn’t sure how widespread the problem was. So far, the error had only been discovered at one polling place.
Earl said if a registered voter finds they are not listed on the election roster, they should ask the election judge to call the Jasper County election’s office so they can verify the registration.
“Obviously, this is a project we’ll be tackling to make sure this is corrected at the state level before the April elections,” Earl said.
