Girls Night Out

Girls Night Out, LLC, a non-profit organization to benefit women in need, is proud to announce that our inaugural empowerment event, the red carpet movie premier of “Sex and the City”, on June 2, 2008 was a huge success. This exciting gathering of women empowering women began with a screening of the movie premier of “Sex and the City”, followed by an exclusive after party at The Gateway Creamery hosted by our sponsors. Free appetizers were provided by some of the areas finest eateries and our Couture and Designer level sponsors had interesting and interactive displays set up throughout the venue.

We are a non-profit organization whose goal is to empower women through education and opportunity. Working initially with Missouri Southern State University, we will sponsor a scholarship for the fall 2008 semester targeted toward non-traditional female students. MSSU is currently working with GNO, Inc. on the application criteria, but it will be aimed at providing non-traditional women students who are attempting to return to the work force an opportunity for a college education. As we move forward, we have visions for GNO, Inc. to host other local and regional events that will raise money for our cause. As our means increase, we will work with our board of directors to expand our scholarship opportunities for other women in need.

Our Mission statement is who we are, “Women empowering women by providing those in need with opportunity and education.”
