Flu shots on tap

The Newton County Health Department will be giving flu shots from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at the Neosho Senior Center at 1017 Carl Sweeney Parkway in Neosho.

Shots will be $15 and the health department will handle necessary paperwork for Medicare. Questions, please call (417) 451-3743.

The health department will also be giving flu shots at the following locations: 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at Lane Apartments in Neosho; 10 to 11 a.m. at Oak Apartments in Neosho; 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, Seneca City Hall; 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, Redings Mill Fire Department; 9:15 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30 at Hammons Center in Fariview; 11 a.m. to noon, Sept. 30, at the Wentworth Community Building: 1:30 to 3 p.m., Sept. 30 30th at Diamond City Hall; 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct.1 at the Granby Fire Department and from 1 to 2 p.m., Oct. 1, at the Stella Senior Center.

On Friday, Oct. 2, the Newton County Health Department will be giving shots at their location until supplies run out.
