Don Bigby takes reins of NEO football program

“Because of the time frame, I would think that it will be just a matter of days before interim president Tom Poole and I discuss the qualifications we’re going to officially post for the position,” Walker said. “Then we’ll begin the advertising and the interviewing process.”

During his four years at NEO, Green also served as coordinator of athletics and college discipline coordinator. Walker has assumed those administrative duties.

“We haven’t determined what duties will be assigned to our next head coach,” Walker said. “At this level we want to have some flexibility in terms of being able to match up strengths with the candidates that are available.”
