A pair of Olympians will provide instruction at a swim clinic today in Webb City.
The Jasper County Killer Whales are hosting a Mutual of Omaha Breakout! Swim Clinic at 9 a.m. today at Webb City High School’s Buck Miner Swim Center.
Olympic swimmers Clark Burckle and Alyssa Anderson will deliver messages to those attend and will then provide in-water demonstration and instruction on swim strokes and techniques.
Burckle placed sixth overall in the 200-meter breast at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Anderson qualified for the 2012 Olympic team by finishing sixth in the 200-meter freestyle.
The clinic visits more than 70 cities a year and is for ages 8 through 18. The Webb City clinic will last from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Olympians will be available for autographs and a photo at the end of the clinic.
