Ryan Stokes, a 2000 graduate of Mount Vernon High School, has been named head boys basketball coach at Fordland High School.
Stokes, who replaces Eli Ernst (new girls coach at Purdy), was an assistant at Seneca in 2011-12 after a season as head coach at McDonald County and four overall at Miller.
Stokes, a Missouri State graduate, guided Miller’s boys to a third-place finish in Class 2 in 2008-09.
