KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
Ozark Christian College, sparked by Tesia Lahm’s 32 points and Sarah Rhodes’ double-double, edged Calvary Bible 55-54 Tuesday night, giving the Lady Ambassadors their first basketball victory of the season.
Lahm hit 13-of-27 field goals and 4-of-5 free throws for her 32 points. She also had nine rebounds, four steals and two assists.
Rhodes sank 5-of-11 field goals and 3-of-5 free throws for 13 points. She also grabbled 12 rebounds, blocked three shots, made three steals and dished out three assists. Anna Chandler matched Rhodes’ three steals.
Drittanee Weide collected 19 points, seven rebounds, six assists, eight steals and two blocks for Calvary, which led 27-26 at halftime.
Ozark Christian, after shooting 34 percent from the floor in the first half, improved to 41 percent in the final 20 minutes and limited Calvary to 29 percent shooting in the second half.
The Ambassadors play at Manhattan Christian on Friday night and atBarclay on Saturday afternoon.

Lamar runs to title
