Glendale 27

Final: Glendale finally connects late, passing for two touchdowns in the final quarter. But Joplin hangs on, improving to 3-1 on the season.

End of third quarter: The Eagles have scored on all seven of their drives this game, beating up a Glendale team thought to be an Ozark Conference powerhouse.

End of first half: Quarterback Cory Rector is having an amazing night, passing 18 of 29 with three touchdowns and more than 300 yards in the first half. Running back Ja'Cobe Britt has two touchdown runs for 1 and 26 yards.

Ozark 22

Final: Chase Milner ices the game with an interception. Webb City's final score came from a Seth Helton 3-yard run. The Cardinals stay undefeated on the season.

4:40, fourth quarter: Webb City has a touchdown lead, but Ozark may make this a nail-biter in the final minutes.

End of second quarter: Webb City quarterback Mack Pyle helps the Cardinals recover from a 14-point deficit. Kyle connected with Caleb Powell and Landon Zerkel for touchdowns; Zerkel ran in a 2-point conversion for the lead with 19 seconds left in the half.

End of first quarter: Webb City struggles with a future conference rival in Ozark.

Carthage 35

Final: A rolling clock helps the fourth quarter expire quickly, with no other scores. Carthage moves to 3-1, Nevada falls to 2-2.

End of third quarter: Derryberry and Posten connect again for the lone score in the third quarter.

End of second quarter: Beau Tommey and Stephen Posten add touchdowns to give the Carthage Tigers a 28-point lead. Trey Derryberry has passed for 131 yards on six attempts and hasn't missed; he has also run for 30 yards.

End of first quarter: Carthage having no problems with Nevada as Beau Tommey runs in a touchdown, and Trey Derryberry connects with Stephen Posten for a 36 yard TD catch.

East Newton 20

Final: Zak Porath ices the game with a 63-yard touchdown run. Carl Junction improves to 3-1, East Newton drops to 2-2.

End of third quarter: Zak Porath helps the Bulldogs take a 7-point lead with a 30-yard touchdown run. But the Patriots are pressing; they start the fourth quarter at the CJ 4-yard line.

End of second quarter: Carl Junction kicker Jordan Cardin has two successful kicks from 20 and 25 yards in the first half.

End of first quarter: Denny Farmer runs a one-yard touchdown to give the East Newton Patriots the lead.

McAuley 6

Final: It's over now, with no other injuries. Miller moves to 3-1 on the season, McAuley drops to 1-3.

10:44, 4th quarter: Officials are running the clock, possibly due to injuries. McAuley starters Arvie Kilong-Kilong, Rocky Spry and Brant Russell are all on the sideline with injuries.

End of third quarter: An interception halted a long McAuley drive, but Miller hasn't added to its 28-point lead.

End of second quarter: McAuley's lone touchdown comes from an Austin Metz pass to Kevin O'Keefe. Miller's Sean Erpelding catches another Justin Jack touchdown pass from 34 yards out.

End of first quarter: Miller added a touchdown to its 6-point lead with a 51-yard score from quarterback Justin Jack to Sean Erpelding.

Galena 21

Final: Galena wins the game with two touchdown runs: Mitch Albright scored from 2 yards out, then Blake Arehart capped the game with a score from 15 yards out. Galena improves to 3-1, Erie drops to 1-3.

End of third quarter: Defenses are holding tough in Galena, as the Red Devils and Bulldogs maintain a 7-7 tie from the first quarter.

End of second quarter: Galena quarterback Jacoby Martin is 3 for 5 with 101 yards and an interception.

End of first quarter: Galena scored first with a Jarred Simmons 20-yard touchdown run. Erie answered when Tyler Kiister caught a 20-yard pass from quarterback Preston Page and ran into the end zone.
