PITTSBURG, Kan. — Four seniors — quarterback Mark Smith, running back Caleb Farabi, inside linebacker Rusty Morgan and defensive end Rashad Pittman — have been selected as team football captains, the school announced Tuesday.
“Successful football teams all have great leadership among their players,” PSU head coach Chuck Broyles said in a press release. “These four individuals certainly are team leaders, and they’ll be counted upon by our coaching staff to continue to be great leaders for the Gorillas.”
The Gorillas complete spring drills this week, capped by the annual spring game at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carnie Smith Stadium.
