PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 baseball squad moved into the championship round of the Kansas Class AAA Tournament by beating Olathe South 5-2 on Sunday at JayCee Ballpark.
Pittsburg will face the survivor of the loser’s bracket at 8 tonight with a second game on Tuesday if needed.
Blue Valley Northwest beat Andover 11-2 in other Sunday action while Lawrence beat Hays 11-1 in seven innings.
