DIAMOND, Mo. — Brittany Eppright and Keli Moore had 10 kills apiece for the night as top-seeded College Heights Christian School defeated No. 4 Southwest 25-19, 25-13 Tuesday night in the semifinals and No. 2 Diamond 25-11, 25-21 in the championship match of the Class 2 District 11 volleyball tournament.
Diamond beat Pierce City 25-12, 25-22 in the other semifinal match at Diamond High School.
The Cougars (17-9-4) advance to sectional competition on Saturday at Strafford High School.
Other leaders for the Cougars included Ashley Sauer with 24 assists, Makayla Fuller with eight blocks, Hannah Myers with 15 digs and Kelsi Bodine with three aces among her 18 points.
McAuley eliminated
MILLER, Mo. — No. 1 seed Lockwood ousted McAuley Catholic 25-8, 25-13 in a semifinal match of the Class 1 District 8 Tournament.
McAuley had knocked off fourth-seeded Greenfield 25-23, 25-22 in the first round.
Lockwood rallied past second-seeded Miller 19-25, 25-9, 25-12 for the title.

Outlaws open season Thursday on the road
