PITTSBURG, Ks. — Pittsburg State opened a 16-point halftime lead and then held off Livin’ The Dream, 86-76, in a women’s exhibition basketball game here Wednesday.
PSU coach Lane Lord used 13 players in the game and 10 of them scored, with Laura Glenn leading the way with 16. Nicole McCombs had 15 points and a game-high 12 rebounds and Candice Gilbert scored 12.
Livin’ The Dream, which trailed 44-28 at halftime, was led by Ashley Birch with 21 points. Kerri Ptacek had 18 for the losers.
