Missouri Southern junior goalkeeper Jon Hansen has been named an all-Southwest Soccer Conference player.
Hansen, who had a conference-high 86 saves, was the only Lion player on the all-SSC first team. He finished the season with a 2.85 goals-against average.
Austin Whiles, who had a team-high two assists, was named to the all-SSC second team.
Juniors Jesse Clevenger and Ben Pantzlaff were selected to the academic all-conference team. Clevenger, a nursing major from Webb City, has a 3.47 grade-point average. Pantzlaff, an international business major, has a 3.57 GPA.

Outlaws open season Thursday on the road
Chris Oldner takes a cut during the Joplin Outlaws practice Tuesday afternoon. The Outlaws open their season on Thursday night at Rossville and play seven road games before their home opener on June 5.
