MANHATTAN, Kan. — Manhattan Christian jumped out to a 48-27 haltime lead en route to an 81-63 victory over Ozark Christian on Friday night in a Midwest Christian College Conference men’s basketball game.
Stephen Tackett scored 15 points to lead the Ambassadors, and Ryan Milliken had 12.
Jordan Strom captured game honors wityh 23 points for Manhattan Christian, and Mike Williams hit 10-of-14 shots for 20 points.
OCC women bow
Whitney Stotts netted 13 points to lead Manhattan Christian to a 65-48 victory over the Ambassadors in the preliminary women’s game.
Kala Brust scored a game-high 18 points for OCC, and Melea Cook added 15. The Ambassadors trailed 30-20 at the intermission.
The OCC teams play today at Barclay College in Haviland, Kan., with the women’s game tipping off at 2 p.m.
