QUAPAW, Okla. — Quarterback Josh Heupel joined several former Oklahoma Sooners at the “Day of Champions” football clinic that concluded Tuesday near Quapaw Casino.
The clinic for boys ages 8-18 was held Monday and Tuesday. Camp director was Ken Heupel, president of Day of Champions, Inc., former head football coach at Northern State (S.D.) University and Josh’s father.
Josh Heupel directed the Sooners to the 2000 national championship and finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting that season.
The clinic was sponsored by Downstream Casino Resort.
