Rockhurst at Joplin

Rockhurst 49, Joplin 19, final

Joplin scored twice in the fourth quarter on Devin St. Clair's 87-yard touchdown pass to Zentrell Shannon and Gates Sanders' 41-yard interception return.

Rockhurst quarterback Frank Arbanas threw his second touchdown pass, a 56-yarder to Scott Herring.

Trailing 28-0, the Eagles scored on Devin St. Clair's 64-yard pass to Gates Sanders. Rockhurst responded with touchdown runs by Sal Delfonte (2 yards) and Josh Sykes (47).

After a scoreless first quarter, Commerce scored on Austin McMain's 3-yard run. Bryson Sullivan scored the next two TDs on runs of 16 and 30 yards.

Maddy Johnson scored his second touchdown on a 30-yard run.

Patrick Drake scored on an 11-yard run, then hit Boo Rodgers for the third time with a 32-yard touchdown pass for the Cardinals' first two scores in the second quarter. Maddy Johnson's 1-yard touchdown run made it 47-0 at halftime.

Patrick Drake threw three touchdown passes covering 33 yards to Austin Daniel and 36 and 17 yards to Boo Rodgers. Jeremiah Box also scored on a one-yard run.



McDonald County vs. Neosho at Missouri Southern

Jake Middleton scored his third touchdown on a 54-yard pass from Alex Wise in the fourth quarter.

The Wildcats' Alex Wise and Will McDaniel hooked up for their second touchdown pass, this one covering 45 yards.

Trailing 20-0, McDonald County scored on Nelson Boyd's 1-yard run. Neosho scored on Will McDaniels's 15-yard reception from Alex Wise.

Jared Shurley's 4-yard run put the Wildcats on the scoreboard, and Jake Middleton scored twice on runs of 1 and 12 yards.



Monett at Seneca

The only fourth quarter scoring was a touchdown by Seneca's Rhoades on a nine-yard run. Rhoades also ran in the two-point conversion following the touchdown.

Dillan Webb's 2-yard touchdown run capped a 79-yard, 16-play drive that consumed most of the third quarter.

Monett tied the game on Tyler Green's 5-yard pass to Chris Elmer, but Seneca regained the lead on a halfback option pass as Dillan Webb found Nick Chasten with a 21-yard strike. Chasten also caught the 2-point conversion pass.

Scoring for Seneca was quarterback Jake Rhoades on a one yard run (kick failed).

Aurora scored on Dustin Hedrick's 4-yard run, and Jared Hickman added the 2-point conversion run.

Jacoby Martin scored on a 1-yard run to give the Bulldogs a 22-0 lead, and on the final play of the first half, Scott Anderson kicked a 21-yard field goal.

Galena 16, Carl Junction 0, end of 1st quarter

Troy Albright threw a 66-yard touchdown pass to Cody Clark on the halfback option for Galena's first touchdown. Albright then caught a 44-yard touchdown strike from Jacoby Martin.
