College Heights’ Kelsi Bodine and Webb City’s Kaitlin Jaeger are among the all-state choices announced by the Missouri High School Volleyball Association.
Bodine, a 5-foot-10 senior, helped College Heights finish third in the MSHSAA Class 2 Tournament. She’s on the Class 2 second elite.
Jaeger, a 6-0 junior, is a member of the Class 4 second team. The all-state basketball player already has verbally committed to Missouri State for volleyball.
Verona has two seniors on the Class 1 elite. Jori Dodson made the first team and Beth Bigham received honorable mention. Miller senior Nicole Adams is on the second unit.
The championship teams dominated the selections.
Class 3 champion Kansas City O’Hara, for example, has four players on the 10-member first team. Class 4 Ozark has a couple on the first team. Class 2 Scott City has four (two apiece on first and second) and Lesterville has three (a first, a second and a honorable mention).
