MIAMI, Okla. —
Applications for head wrestling coach at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M are now being accepted.
Persons interested in the coaching/instructor position can find the application online at www.neo.edu, according to NEO athletics director Dale Patterson.
The school had a wrestling program for 11 years before it was dropped after the 1991-92 season. Earlier the school announced its intention to bring the program back, starting with the 2013-14 school year.
“We are looking for coaches with wrestling coaching experience at either the high school or college levels,” Patterson said in a release. “Our expectations are to fill the position before the start of the 2012 fall semester.
“The teaching aspect associated with the position is open. We feel like we can find an academic area that will be suited for the candidate.”
