Carthage’s boys and girls are the No. 1 seeds in the Class 5, District 12 basketball tournament that begins Monday at Carthage.
In the girls’ division, No. 4 Neosho will play No. 5 Springfield Central at 6 p.m. Monday, followed by No. 3 Webb City against No. 6 Joplin at 7:30 p.m.
The winner of the Neosho-Central game will play Carthage at 6 p.m. Wednesday, followed by the Webb City-Joplin winner against No. 2-seed Willard at 7:30 p.m.
The girls’ championship game is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, followed by the boys’ championship game at 3:30 p.m.
In the boys division, No. 4 Joplin will play No. 5 Neosho at 6 p.m. Tuesday, followed by No. 3 Willard against No. 6 Central at 7:30 p.m.
The winner of the Joplin-Neosho game will play Carthage at 6 p.m. Thursday, followed by Willard or Central against No. 2 Webb City at 7:30 p.m.
