PITTSBURG, Kan. —
Lightning forced postponement of Thursday night’s CNC League high school football game between Girard and St. Mary’s-Colgan.
The game has been rescheduled for 7 tonight at Hutchinson Field. An officiating crew to work the game has been found, according to Colgan coach Chuck Smith.
Officials, because of the inclement weather, pushed the start of the game on Thursday back to 7:40 before another round of lightning produced the decision to postpone the contest.
