AFTON, Okla. — The Afton Eagles scored four times in the first four minutes of the game and rolled to a 51-8 win over the McAuley Warriors at Afton High School.

Matt Wisdom returned the opening kickoff 80 yards before breaking loose for a 45-yard touchdown run just two minutes later to put the Eagles up 14-0.

Brennon Fuser hit Sam Shepard for a 30-yard scoring strike to make it 21-0 with 8:12 remaining in the opening quarter and Wisdom added another TD run — this from 1 yards out — just three minutes later to make it 28-0.

Wisdom finished with 11 carries for 129 yards, three rushing touchdowns and the kickoff return.

McAuley got on the board in the fourth quarter when Mitch Wear hit Ben Street for a 34-yard gain. Street then pitched a lateral to Jesse Adams, who found the end zone.

Wear then hit Luke Seidel with the 2-point conversion pass.

The Warriors (0-2) play host to Ash Grove next Friday at Fred G. Hughes Stadium.
