Crowder women improve to 4-1

HARRISON, Ark. — The Crowder Lady ’Riders improved to 4-1 by beating John Wood 99-67 on Saturday in the North Arkansas Classic.

Crowder received double-figure scoring from four players. It led 47-36 at the half.

Terai Sadler scored 23 points and grabbed six rebounds for Crowder. Chloe Nichols added eight rebounds, Camila Lacerda nine assists and three steals, Caprese Marshall 19 points, Sarah Sagely 17 points and Veronica Amos 14 points. Megan Ritter also had three steals.

Sagely sank five of eight from 3-point range.

Four players also scored in double figures for John Wood. Erika Brown scored 13 to pace the team.

Neosho-based Crowder resumes by visiting Coffeyvllle at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
