A big second half lifted the Ozark Christian College men’s basketball team past visiting Central Bible of Springfield 88-74 on Thursday night.
The Ambassadors, who finished with six players scoring in double figures, outscored the Spartans 52-40 in the second half.
OCC, 18-3, resumes tonight with a 7:30 game at Dallas Christian.
Kyle Wicklund sparked OCC with 28 points and 15 rebounds. Wicklund sank 12 of 21 shots from the field to key the team’s 50.8 percent accuracy on 33 of 65.
OOC also led the rebounding 39-28. Kendall Wingert had seven assists and three steals.
OCC received 14 points from Cameron Woodring and 11 from Wingert. Zac Hill, Darrin Chitwood and Philip Donna each had 10.
CBC’s Mason Horsley scored 25 points. Joey Kreuter and Charles Staten tallied 17 and 14, respectively.
