TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A public memorial service is set for evangelist Oral Roberts at the Tulsa university that bears his name.
Oral Roberts University said Wednesday on its Web site that the service for Roberts will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the on-campus Mabee Center. The doors will open for the service an hour before it starts and it will be webcast live at www.goldeneagle.tv.
The 91-year-old Roberts died Tuesday of complications from pneumonia in Newport Beach, Calif. He founded Oral Roberts University in 1963, serving first as its president, then later as its chancellor.
