Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon will join community leaders and chamber officials this morning to take part in a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 115,000-square-foot plant that will be built in the Joplin-Webb City Industrial Park.
The new distribution plant is being built by Rogers, Ark.-based Don’s Cold Storage, which provides blast freezing, cold storage, dry storage and transportation services to several different industries.
The $14 million project is expected to bring nearly 50 news jobs to the area.
