3 To Get Ready

— Three things coming your way in Friday’s Joplin Globe:

1) A Neosho man pleaded guilty in federal court Friday to stealing more than $4.9 million from his employer, which he spent on gambling and personal expenses.

2) A group of Kansas House members has filed legislation for the 2014 session that would add three Southeast Kansas icounties to the state’s rural opportunity zone program.

3) The Crowder College Board of Trustees on Friday approved student rates for Roughrider Village apartments, which it bought last month for $3.5 million.
