MAP: Some Neosho residents will experience interruption in water service as part of $9.5 million project

NEOSHO, Mo. — Water service for some Neosho residents will be temporarily disrupted next week, city officials announced on Thursday. The interruption in water service will occur while crews from Rosetta Construction and the Neosho Public Works Department are capping off old water lines and connecting newly installed water mains.

Water service may be interrupted intermittently between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 18 and 19, for residents living on:

- West Grand Avenue between Ripley and Wood streets.

- South Ripley Street between Grand Avenue and South Street.

- South High Street between Grand Avenue and South Street.

- West North Street between High and Wood streets.

- South Wood Street between North Street and Grand Avenue.

- Dewey Avenue between High and Jefferson streets.

- South Jefferson Street between Grand Avenue and North Street.

- Finney Avenue between Grand Avenue and North Street.

- South College Street between Grand Avenue and North Street.

- South Place between Ripley and High streets.

The work is part of the $9.5 million water system improvement project approved by city voters in August 2009.
