Mom who staged fight with toddler gets probation

ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis woman who staged a fight involving her 2-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old boy, then posted video of the crying toddlers on Facebook, has been placed on probation.

KSDK-TV reports that 22-year-old Latonya Davis must also attend parenting classes as part of a plea deal. She was sentenced Tuesday. She was charged in July after police said Davis directed her daughter and a boy she was babysitting to fight while she made the video.

Investigators said Davis could be heard laughing and encouraging the children to hit each other with their fists while they cried hysterically.
